Throughout my years working in assisted living and helping families navigate senior care decisions, one thing became very clear to me - people often need more than just information. They need personalized guidance, support, education, resources, and someone willing to truly listen.
When I first began working in senior living, I quickly recognized a need for greater public education surrounding future healthcare planning, care options, and life transitions. Many people are unaware of the decisions that should be made in advance, the options available to help them safely remain at home, how to access support after a health crisis occurs, or the different senior living options available to them.
Soon after beginning my first role in senior living, I began saying that I wanted to make it my life's mission to educate the public about the options available - proactive rather than reactive.
Through Nightingale Guidance, I provide educational workshops designed to help individuals and families better prepare for future healthcare needs, aging related transitions, and available support options. When additional guidance is needed, help connect individuals and families with resources and, when appropriate, assist them in identifying senior living options that best support their care and psychosocial needs.
In addition to supporting individuals and families, Nightingale Guidance also works alongside assisted living group home owners and managers by providing insight, support, and practical recommendations to help strengthen operations while continuing to provide quality care for residents.
Nightingale Guidance allows me to provide comprehensive support to the individuals and families I serve - helping people navigate not only where they live, but how they live safely, confidently, and with the support they deserve.
